Over 7,000 Tons of K9 Ductile Iron Pipes Exported to Iraq
Time:2025-09-11

Recently, more than 7,000 tons of K9-grade ductile iron pipes produced by Jinsteel Casting embarked on their journey to Iraq, destined for a major public water supply project. This marks not only a significant milestone for our products’ successful entry into the Middle Eastern market but also a vivid demonstration of “Made in China” actively contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative and enhancing international infrastructure cooperation.

As a key country in the Middle East, Iraq has long prioritized water supply and livelihood security in its development agenda. The supplied ductile iron pipes will be used to construct a drinking water transmission network across multiple regions. Once completed, the project will significantly improve local residents’ access to clean water, enhance public health, and contribute profoundly to regional stability and economic growth.

The exported ductile iron pipes range from DN250 to DN1000, all meeting the K9 grade standard. Manufactured with high-strength cast iron and advanced centrifugal casting technology, the pipes feature high compressive strength, corrosion resistance, excellent sealing performance, and long service life. With cement mortar lining inside and a zinc coating plus bitumen paint on the outside, the dual protection ensures durability and safety under complex geological and climatic conditions. The products have passed ISO 2531 international certification and several authoritative industry tests, earning full recognition from overseas clients.
