·Exhibition Overview·

Big 5 Construct South Africa & Infrastructure Expo is the largest and most influential professional exhibition for the construction and building materials industry in Sub-Saharan Africa. Under the theme “Empowering African Infrastructure, Leading Sustainable Construction,” the event aligns closely with South Africa’s Infrastructure Investment Plan. The expo is organized by DMG Events — a leading exhibition organizer in the Middle East and Africa, with dual operations centers in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Integrating global construction industry resources with local African needs, the event serves as a core trading platform covering the Southern African market.

The Big 5 Construct South Africa & Infrastructure Expo 2026 will be held from June 9–11 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg. It is expected to attract 300 exhibiting companies from 35 countries, covering core sectors such as building materials, construction machinery, construction technology, HVAC, interior finishes, and water treatment and equipment. The expo will target over 12,000 professional visitors from South Africa and other African regions (including key markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana), the majority of whom are construction contractors, developers, and decision-makers from government infrastructure departments. This creates a complete ecosystem of "product display – project matchmaking – investment and financing cooperation."

Market Opportunities
As an economic powerhouse in Africa, South Africa's construction industry is undergoing rapid development. The government is vigorously promoting infrastructure construction—including large-scale road expansion, railway renovation, port upgrades, and energy projects—bringing unprecedented opportunities for the building materials industry. Meanwhile, accelerating urbanization is driving continuous population growth in cities, leading to rising demand for residential, commercial, and public facilities, which further stimulates the building materials market.

The African market is full of vitality and opportunity. Jin Steel Casting is ready to become your trusted partner with high-quality products and services. We look forward to your visit!
